Guided tours

Tours are composed of three parts: A guided tour of the vineyard, a guided tour of the cellar, and a guided wine tasting.

DESCRIPTION OF THE TOUR

Tours are composed of three parts: A guided tour of the vineyard, a guided tour of the cellar, and a guided wine tasting.

  1. Guided tour of the vineyard. The prerequisite to making quality wines is having the necessary grapes. We will explain the three factors that influence the maturation of the grapes and largely define the final character of the wine, which are; A varying selection of grapes, application of proper wine cultivation, and specific knowledge of the climate of our region.
  2. Guided tour of the cellar. Once we know what needs to be done to ensure quality grapes, we analyze the transformations and process through which they pass, before reaching the bottle. We will explain what the fermentation process consist of and why it must be done and elaborate of the various types of wine produced; Red, blush and white wines, as well as young, semi-aged, and reserve wines.
  3. Wine tasting. Each visitor will receive a special tasting card which we will use to analyze the various components of the wine; look, smell, and taste. The tasting guide, Mari, will expect visitors to participate in the discussion of the characteristics of each wine tasted.
