The harvest was done by hand in August 2009. The vineyard tempranillo is “pie francoy”, and it has more than 50 years. Vineyard yields have been lower than 2,000 kilograms per hectare. The wine fermented for 20 days in stainless steel self-emptying tanks at a controlled temperature of 28 °C. After racking, malolactic fermentation takes place in American oak barrel both for six months. For nurture new barrels were used.
