TYPE: Red wine aged six months in oak barrels
VARIETY: Tempranillo 100%
DEGREE: 14 % Vol.
The harvest took place during the second half of September in selected plots of Tempranillo 20 years. The juice fermented in the presence of the skins for 20 days at a rate of two times per day, at a controlled temperature of 26 ° C. After racking, malolactic fermentation ended and went on to aging in American oak for six months, after which he spent 18 months in bottle.
Red meat (beef), pork, goat or lamb roasted, rabbit, partridge and quail, lean meats, vegetable stews, Thai and Manchego cheese.
Over time it has accumulated a large number of national and international awards. Some are: Best Red Wine 2009 from Spain (Germany); Bacchus Gold, Bacchus Contest 2006; Best Red Wine of Tierra de Castilla 2006; Gold Medal International Contest Tempranillo al Mundo 2005; Gold Medal International Wine Challenge 2005.
